Pakistan defeat India for the first time ever in a T20 contest, in Bangalore on Tuesday.
Chasing 133, Pakistan lost three quick wickets to Bhuvneshwar Kumar but fought back to register a 5-wicket win.
Mohammad Hafeez (61) and Shoaib Malik (57*) top-scored for the visitors. Malik hit a six off the fourth ball of the final over to seal the match.
Pakistan restrict India to 133/9 in the opening T20 of the bilateral series between the two sides, in Bangalore.
Asked to bat first, Gambhir (43) and Rahane (42) provided the hosts with a solid foundation.
Pakistan came back with a heavy hand though as they claimed quick wickets. Umar Gul took three wickets.
